We're home! We had such a great family vacation!! Elleah was such a great little traveler. The 6 hour plane ride didn't even phase her. She loved poking her head over the seat to see what the passenger behind us was doing. Luckily it was a really cute couple who thought she was the cutest thing ever. She didn't sleep one tiny bit on the way there, but I think it actually helped a TON with jet lag when we got there about the same time we left (they are 4 hours behind).
She was mesmerized by the ocean and always had to hold on real tight when we took long walks every morning. The family all adored her and were so helpful to take her so Mike and I could have a little alone time also! She is really starting to recognize people and hold out her arms to people she knows and shy away from those she doesn't. It doesn't take her long to warm up to any one though and it's fun to see her batt those big eyes and smile at people as we pass.
She tried a lot of new foods...Shrimp, lilikoi (passion fruit), jack fruit, a new type of curry, a dole whip, poi, taro rolls, papya and a few other things I can't think of at the moment. We have yet to find a food she doesn't LOVE. She turned 9 months our second day there and to celebrate we went to a luau and a big dance show at the PCC. Here are some of the photos fom the great trip. I hope all of you are happy and doing well. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help!
XOXO
