Elleah is doing great and doing so may new things! This is her latest and greatest trick which she thinks is so funny! The nozzle is a really soft rubber so she loves to try to bite on it. I can't believe she can hold it all by herself without having problems. I gave it to her and she just knew what to do with it!

Mike and I took a little trip to Vegas when we were first married and found this outfit at M&M world. It was the first baby item we bought together!

*Sorry this post is a little early we are going out of town to visit my brother and won't be home on Sunday! I'll post again on Monday I'm sure there will be new pictures of our favorite baby!

ZOO TIME!

We had such a fantastic day at the Houston Zoo! The temperature was perfect, the Animals were cute and we were with some of the best company you can find! Ella couldn't have had a better first time at the zoo!

Elle's first food!

At Ella's 4 month checkup yesterday the Dr. recommended starting her on a few solid foods so here we gave it a try. . .response. . . she LOVED it!

Ella's Four Month checkup!

Elle's Dr visit went really great today!

Our nurse was absolutely in love with her and couldn't believe how happy and active she is. She is completely healthy and really strong for her age. She weighs 16 lbs the little chunky monkey and is 24.5 inches tall! Cam, you will be glad to know her head is in the low 70th percentile =) I know their was some concern about a big noggin, but she is perfect! The Dr. said there isn't anything we should be concerned about, or do differently! That's always good to hear. She had her second set of shots an oral vaccine and then one in each thigh. She didn't cry with the first one she didn't even flinch, but the second one sent the poor little one through the roof! She definitely felt the second. Thanks to Mike for being there, I have such a hard time being there alone! We are starting her on rice cereal tomorrow and letting her try an avocado! We'll be taking lots of photos and a video so stay tuned for more food firsts!

Happy 4 moths baby girl!

Ella is 4 months old it's hard to believe! In the past few weeks she has been changing so much. She is grabbing everything in sight and must be holding on to something at all times (often times it's my hair). She is so super smiley and really interacts with people who just come up to tell her how cute she is. I can't believe how many people tell us she should do baby modeling! I just laugh and tell them thanks. She is such a morning person (just like me, not like Mike =). . .) she wakes up so alert and happy, she never has to go through that groggy stage. She goes to bed early around 8-8:30 and wakes up fairly early 7-7:30 sleeping about 11 hours a night! Her hair is really filling out and getting really long on top. She has darling curls on top that are the envy of all my close friends and their little girls! It's cute, all of our nieces on both sides have curly hair so it's perfect that she fits right in! We have been spending SO much time out side at the park or just on walks around our little community. We can't really do a lot with her outside yet, but one thing she just loves to do is feel new textures. We'll run her hands through sand or along a tree trunk , or in grass to let her feel different textures. If it's a texture she likes she'll laugh and reach out and try to feel it again. If she's unsure she doesn't reach out at all and just looks up at me. . .so cute! She really is just turning into a little friend. She loves to listen. I talk and talk and she will just smile and coo back. She's an amazing baby!

She is going into the Dr. on Tuesday for her 4 month check up and shots =( so I will at least post all the stats from that early in the week!

Not to make every one jealous of our weather. . . BUT the Weather here has been just ridiculously wonderful (upper 80's) this week. Friday we went with some friends to the pool for the first time this year! We got Elle in her new Swim Suite (so cute!) and headed for a swim!
