Happy 4 moths baby girl!

Ella is 4 months old it's hard to believe! In the past few weeks she has been changing so much. She is grabbing everything in sight and must be holding on to something at all times (often times it's my hair). She is so super smiley and really interacts with people who just come up to tell her how cute she is. I can't believe how many people tell us she should do baby modeling! I just laugh and tell them thanks. She is such a morning person (just like me, not like Mike =). . .) she wakes up so alert and happy, she never has to go through that groggy stage. She goes to bed early around 8-8:30 and wakes up fairly early 7-7:30 sleeping about 11 hours a night! Her hair is really filling out and getting really long on top. She has darling curls on top that are the envy of all my close friends and their little girls! It's cute, all of our nieces on both sides have curly hair so it's perfect that she fits right in! We have been spending SO much time out side at the park or just on walks around our little community. We can't really do a lot with her outside yet, but one thing she just loves to do is feel new textures. We'll run her hands through sand or along a tree trunk , or in grass to let her feel different textures. If it's a texture she likes she'll laugh and reach out and try to feel it again. If she's unsure she doesn't reach out at all and just looks up at me. . .so cute! She really is just turning into a little friend. She loves to listen. I talk and talk and she will just smile and coo back. She's an amazing baby!

These were taken the morning of her 4th month!
She is going into the Dr. on Tuesday for her 4 month check up and shots =( so I will at least post all the stats from that early in the week!

Taking a dip!

FUN IN THE SUN!!
(with sunscreen of course)

Not to make every one jealous of our weather. . . BUT the Weather here has been just ridiculously wonderful (upper 80's) this week. Friday we went with some friends to the pool for the first time this year! We got Elle in her new Swim Suite (so cute!) and headed for a swim!

Wearing my very first swim diaper!
(Thanks Sophie for letting me borrow one! My mom was very unprepared!)

Me and my daddy about to take a dip!
(my mom keeps saying she loves my legs)

Brrr..It's a little cold,
a foot dip is good enough for me!

Now this is the life!

Ahh!

What a fun day!
We should all go swim again soon!

Bye for now I'm all tuckered out!

DRUM ROLL PLEASE....

ELLA ROLLED TODAY!! It was such a great day with this baby. She is such a little smarty. I love watching her discover how smart she is... When she does something like imitate a sound I make (or in this case roll) and she looks at me and laughs making sure I noticed how clever she is! What an amazing baby! Here are the photos right after she rolled over! hopefully next time I'll catch her in action with my camera!

Happy Valentines day and Happy birthday!

We have been having a crazy week, but it has been so fun! Ella went to her first Valentines party and even took treats to exchange! Mike's parents are here visiting, so we have been taking them around this large place we call home and last, today is Mikes Birthday! Horray!!

Here is Ella on her way to her first V-day party!

This is our guided tram tour to see the back lots of NASA. It was really amazing to see everything in person! She did so great and just cooed all along the way!

She got a little bored with the tram tour and decided to take a little rest!

Here is Ella this morning on our way to church for Mikes Birthday! Mikes Aunty Jane gave her this new little dress, it is so cute I wish you could see all the little details!

Any reason to celebrate

Feb 6 was national wear red week, so I thought that for the family I would try to go all out and make it a day to celebrate awareness for womens heart disease. After serving a mission in Spain where everyday is a holiday of some sort I'm always on the look out for a reason to celebrate. We celebrated by not only wearing red, but also eating red foods (spagetti, strawberry jello gigglers, fruit punch and Mike's favorite treat swedish fish) and painting our nails red . We are doing the 12 days of Valentines Day so every day til the 14 there is a present in our "mail box of love". Today Mike and Ella both got red presents to open. Ella got a head band, Mike some Pj's. Ella's new red head band is far too big, but still pretty cute! Happy red day!
